Apocalypse Meow: Save the Last Humans can be categorized into a fast paced shooting game with RPG elements where you will control an ace dog pilot to save humans from the nefarious cats

After progressing through the game, just be sure to upgrade on the Ship Systems as this circumstances are permanent bonuses to your ship.
By upgrading the ship system, you will get more health, stronger guns, and all that jazz.
In line with this, you must also focus all of your minerals into these upgrades, rather than the payload upgrades.
Payloads upgrades will allow you to bring temporary power ups with you into battle, in which they will really be useful and they cost a boat load amount of minerals.
When being in the battlefield, enemy ships will always fly at you in a formation, a single file line. You must to counter them by shooting down all of the ships in one formation, so that you will be granted with a formation bonus worth 150 points.
